This is the first version of the RFP and was released on 24 January 2009.

This version covers basic layer 4-7 performance testing and includes discussion of testing for caching and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) offload. Additionally, the document describes procedures for testing common Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks. The document contains templates for gathering test configuration information and results.

This version of the document does not cover feature testing.
